The garden is looking good! I was worried that after the cold snap after planting these seeds that they might suffer, but so far they're looking very healthy! The snap peas are already almost six inches high, the radishes are growing like crazy and there are little red bulbs just under the dirt, and the lettuce looks very thick and healthy so far.
There's the lettuce. We had to cull both the lettuce and the radishes so they'd have a bit more room to grow.
This weekend, we planed zucchini, cucumber, beans, nasturtiums, and zinnias from seeds, and also added two strawberry plants.
We put in the posts for the snap peas because we won't be out there next weekend and they'll probably grow pretty high in the next two weeks. I only did one layer of string because we ran out, but hopefully that will work until the first weekend in May when we can get back out there.
My wonderful rhubarb is back! Can't wait to have this baby 1. to meet her and have her and all of those wonderful things and 2. so I can eat sugar and carbs again and get cracking on rhubarb pies.
I planted nasturtiums from seed last year and they did really well, so I thought I'd try zinnias, too. We'll see how they do.
Here's a little map (it was raining a little on Saturday when we planted so it got a little messy. When we get back out there in two weekends we'll plant our tomatoes, hot peppers, and eggplants. Can't wait!
