I'd been dying to try the Naked Lady Room at Bell Book and Candle. I'd eaten there once before (BB&C) but didn't know about the special, secret little room. For Jamie's birthday, we made a reservation for 5 (that's all it holds) 2 weeks in advance and got to try it out. It was super cool! Great for an intimate dinner, and also great because it's a private room but there's no extra cost. It's teeny tiny, so you can only fit 5, maybe 6, people. Also, I wouldn't advise it for people with claustrophobia. The ceilings are high and there's a small window looking out to the bar, but it's definitely cramped.

You enter through a narrow brick passage next to the bar and the room consists of one table with a surrounding booth, a dangling chandelier, and hot pink wallpaper bedecked with 70s era topless women. Super kitschy and fun. People pop their heads in all night asking how you landed the sweet, private room so you feel like a celeb. It's nice.Bryce and behind him the narrow brick hallway
The food was great! Kind of fancy, locally sourced, pub grub. They have a great Drunken Bean Dip. I had one of the specials which was a brisket quesadilla - so tasty! Jamie had the Cheeseburger patty melt, also great. Really juicy and savory with gooey sharp cheddar cheese. And as we walked out, the bar scene was hopping and looked pretty fun, especially for a Tuesday. It's supposed to be great in the summer too because they have an amazing roof top garden. If you need a special place for a small group, I definitely recommend this! I'm already scheming for my next excuse to eat here. A surprise birthday party for an upcoming birthday, perhaps?Bryce and Maria looking out toward the bar
