I'd been wanting to try making tomato sauce in the slow cooker. It's so easy and you get a really rich tomato flavor.
Ingredients:
2 can whole tomatoes
1 yellow onion, peeled and sliced
4 cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
Bunch of parsley
1 1/2 tbsp kosher salt
Directions:
Put it all in the slow cooker.
Turn it on high for 10 hours.
Put it through a food mill. Season to taste.
