Everything is looking good!
I pulled out a couple more beets that were too close to others so that the others can grow. Aren't they pretty/cool looking?
We had tons of snap peas - I'm going to make snap pea pesto tonight. The Snap Pea side would probably just keep on growing no matter what. It's probably 9 feet right now and has flopped over the tomato cages. (Luckily the snap peas will be done before the tomatoes get too big, though they're all probably at least 4 feet high already!)
We had the first zucchini! Even though it'll probably be huge by next weekend it was too much of a baby to cut it now.
And what looks like the first cucumber.
And some tomatoes on the little mini-orange tomato plant!
The lettuce is still growing like crazy and we've had a whole lot of salads from it.
The herbs are delicious, and I've been making an herb dip where I mince tarragon, parsley, cilantro, thyme, oregano, and basil and mix it with about a teaspoon of grated onion, a squeeze of lemon, about 1/3 cup sour cream, a big tbsp mayonnaise, and some salt and pepper - yum! So fresh and gardeny.
The rhubarb is finally looking healthy! All those big leaves are new. Yay.
And my zinnias make wonderful cutting flowers. Look how pretty they are!
